The Ten-Year Decree

The Ten-Year Decree

[ Ad space ]

This is a story I lived myself — and one I would only understand in its full depth years later. At that time, I didn’t yet know the principle of “Feeling Is the Bridge.” But in some quiet way, it was already unfolding through a heartfelt decree.

When we visited the model apartment, I still remember the impact the moment had on me. There was something different about that place — a harmony, a certain light, a deep sense of belonging. We visited others, but none compared. It was as if that space already recognized me.

We decided to buy it while it was still under construction. And when we finally received the keys, in June 2008, I heard myself saying, with conviction and spontaneity: “We’ll live here for ten years.” I didn’t think about it. The words simply came out — filled with certainty, as if something within already knew what it was declaring.

That apartment marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. It was there that I began, almost from scratch, my journey as a carpenter. I built the kitchen furniture and one of the bedrooms with my own hands — exactly the way my wife and I wanted. It turned out perfect. And somehow, that handcrafted work seemed to seal an even deeper bond with that home.

We lived many moments there — projects, laughter, challenges, new beginnings. Time flowed, and the apartment became an extension of our own consciousness. Then, in 2015, we decided to sell it. We listed it — but nothing happened. No offer moved forward. It was as if the field itself was holding the original promise, faithful to the decree I had once made without realizing its power.

In 2016, a buyer appeared, ready to close the deal. Everything seemed aligned — until an unexpected event made him step back. Almost a year later, he returned, and this time, the sale finally went through.

Only years later, when I had come to understand the depth of conscious creation, did I look at the dates: we received the keys on June 20, 2008, and sold the apartment on December 5, 2017. Exactly nine and a half years.

As I looked at those dates, I felt an inner silence. The universe had responded with precision to what I had declared — effortlessly, without control — through the quiet certainty of a felt decree.

“A conscious decree is a vibrational pact: the universe never forgets what is affirmed with feeling.”

— Edmar Sasaki

Today, I see that episode as a preview of what I would later learn — that every word felt deeply is a creative seed, and time only obeys the original impulse that set it in motion. I hadn’t yet understood that feeling is the bridge — but the decree was already the passage.

Conscious creation doesn’t depend on understanding the process — only on being coherent with what feels true. The universe always responds to the vibration of what has already been assumed as real.
